Description
This textbook covers all the standard introductory topics in classical mechanics, including Newton’s laws, oscillations, energy, momentum, angular momentum, planetary motion, and special relativity. It also explores more advanced topics, such as normal modes, the Lagrangian method, gyroscopic motion, fictitious forces, 4-vectors, and general relativity. It contains more than 250 problems with detailed solutions so students can easily check their understanding of the topic. There are also over 350 unworked exercises which are ideal for homework assignments.
If you want to learn undergraduate classical mechanics, this is literally the greatest investment you can make towards that goal. Morin is the GOAT of all physics writers at the undergrad level. The problems + solutions are indescribably helpful (and quite challenging!). Warning: you need to have gone through an intro course in physics for this book to be most useful to you; do not try and use this as your first exposure to mechanics. Overall, this book is so good. This review will not do it justice; please go buy it for yourself (please don’t be a pdf pirate! This book is well worth the money).

I contenuti sono buoni, ma solo esercizi di livello avanzato rispetto ad altri libri che vengono consigliati nella mia università.
A great Author
Venia con un detalle golpecitos, pero de ahí en fuera todo bien. Buen libro para iniciarse en mecánica clásica
Good enough for self study reference book only for college students
