Description
“This textbook is a well-rounded, rigorous, and informative work presenting the mathematics behind modern machine learning techniques. It hits all the right notes: the choice of topics is up-to-date and perfect for a course on data science for mathematics students at the advanced undergraduate or early graduate level. This book fills a sorely-needed gap in the existing literature by not sacrificing depth for breadth, presenting proofs of major theorems and subsequent derivations, as well as providing a copious amount of Python code. I only wish a book like this had been around when I first began my journey!” -Nicholas Hoell, University of Toronto
its discrete. it’s like you could never hate anything more than proof writing in highschool, until now..
quality text book though.
I bought the book for self-improvement/learning and it meets my expectations.
Book was described as good, but it looks like it’s never been used. Delivery was expected on a Friday but was received much earlier in the week. Highly recommend seller.
I have not finished the book yet (self study), but what I can say is that the book does a great job introducing the basic concepts in chapter 1 and does a great job explaining the basics of mathematical logic in chapter 2. I found that the only part I needed a little extra help with so far was the part of section 2.5 where the author talks about circuits for addition. (I will give a full review when I have finished the book)
So Far Great Book!
I receceived the product in excellent conditions!
